Cloud Architect
Role Overview
As a Cloud Architect, you will design, implement, and oversee cloud computing strategies to meet organizational needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of modern cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Strategy Development: Design and implement cloud computing strategies that align with business goals.
- Solution Architecture: Create scalable and secure cloud-based solutions, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, management, and operation of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions adhere to security policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, DevOps, and development teams to integrate cloud technologies into applications and systems.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor cloud systems to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Cost Management: Optimize cloud costs and budgets by analyzing usage patterns and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Innovation: Stay updated with emerging cloud trends and technologies to recommend and implement improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
