Data scientist
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented data scientist with 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of business goals and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced data models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical techniques to solve business problems.
- Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Build and deploy predictive models and maintain model performance over time.
- Visualize data insights through dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Communicate complex data-driven findings in a clear, actionable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in data science and analytics.
- Contribute to improving internal data science frameworks and best practices.
- Ensure data privacy and compliance with data governance policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related domain.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R.
- Strong experience with SQL and data manipulation tools.
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib/Seaborn.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
